ale nunez | VP of social
I graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2016 and remained in Nashville, TN for 2 years working at an influencer marketing startup for musical artists. I then transitioned to the nonprofit sector and worked for an education-equity focused nonprofit as a Project Manager for 2.5 years in Washington, D.C. At NYU Stern, in addition to AHBBS, I am involved with the Social Impact and Sustainability Association and the Entertainment, Media, & Sports Association. In the future, I hope to combine my past work experiences and coursework at Stern to leverage the entertainment industry to better support nonprofit causes.
Favorite thing about AHBBS?
Favorite thing about Stern: There's such a unique student body with a diversity of experiences! Favorite thing about AHBBS: The people! We always have fun and have a really supportive group.
Advice for prospective students?
Try everything (at least once!) If there's ever anything you wish you tried in undergrad - whether it be joining certain clubs or signing up for cool events - now's the time! There are so many opportunities at Stern and in the City, and time goes fast.
Fun Fact!
I was an extra in the movie The Blindside!
